What's going on everyone! The semester is finally coming to an end and I am so ready to graduate!! I have been very busy with this class along with final projects and exams coming up. Rhett 233 has challenged me in many ways lately including recording a podcast that you can check out back on my homepage and my html skills that have greatly improved since day 1 of this course. If you look at my final project you can see how much I have improved at web design from taking this class. My podcast and final project is over student activism around the Chief Illiniwek. For anyone out there on the web who is interested in fulfilling their English requirement I one hundred percent recommend taking Professor Schaffner's course over a traditional writing class. You will not only learn the dynamics of today's writing formats and web design, but Spencer opens your mind to think of new ideas. Rhett 233 encourages a comfortable and fun learning environment where students are able to share their ideas and thoughts which makes for some interesting discussions. Anyways, I hope you all like the finished project and site, have an awesome summer!

Thanks for checking back in on my webpage! A lot has been going on in the past month, I have been away from class the month of March with the Air Force. I got to travel across the world to Poland and see some awesome countries on the way. I now have my Clickbait, Phishing Scam and Reviews posted to my webpage and I have some big changes coming soon! I am currently working diligently on our group podcast about the Chief Illiniwek controversy and the webpage to go along with it. I am really excited to get my website in CSS format and change some visual effects with all that I have learned.

As you may have noticed, a lot has changed in the past few weeks with my webpage! I have added some new things and changed others, optimizing my homepage to the best of my coding abilities. We have completed a few projects such as uploading our minicomics, a forgery, and currently I am working on a clickbait headline. Creating these webpages and uploading content to each of them has given me a lot of trouble but I am finally understanding the basics of creating webpages and am getting the hang of it. If you check back on my homepage, one thing I thought was really neat was the forgery that we did. I created a fake email from the Chancellor at the University of Illinois cancelling our spring break. Once I finished writing and formatting the letter in Microsoft Word, I took a picture of the email and posted the image to my webpage. Along with the email, I have some supporting material as well, a couple of tweets off of twitter regarding the cancellation. I am really looking forward to completing the clickbait headline because we see these on a daily basis on social media. Learning the tactics and marketing methods of clickbaits will be very cool. The month of March will be very interesting for my because I will be traveling to Poland with the Air Force for 30 days. This is going to be difficult keeping up with classes and posting on my homepage regularly but I will continue to do my best! Thanks for checking out my latest blog, I will check back in with you next month with my webpage progress!

Hey everyone, my name is Brock Lemmon and I am a senior in technical systems management. I will be graduating in May with my Bachelor's Degree and will be working for Monsanto as a production manager in Farmer City, Illinois. I am very excited about this semester and especially this class as my web design skills are subpar at best. I am already struggling at the basic web design skills as this blog took a few hours to get it posted on my site. Taking this course was a general education requirement but I chose it because it seemed a lot cooler than the typical second required English course. I am hoping to get a lot out of this class in terms of web design and homing in on my writing skills. Outside of class I am a father to a 2-year-old aussie doodle named milo who takes up a majority of my time. I also work for the University in the Mechanical Engineering Department Receiving area part-time. My hobbies include hanging out with my friends, working out and playing video games. Please check back in a few weeks as I will be keeping you updated with my semester and how this course is going!
